Purpose
At Sober House Philadelphia, our adolescent mentoring program is here to support teens through one of the most challenging times in life. Juggling school, extracurricular activities, and the ups and downs of social life isn’t easy, especially when they’re facing peer pressure and the temptation to make unhealthy choices. Our goal is to help young people navigate these changes in a positive and healthy way. We provide the guidance and encouragement they need to stay on track, avoid drugs and alcohol, and build the confidence to make good decisions for their future.

After years of struggling with addiction and trauma, I came to Sober House Philadelphia. The structure, the people, the support — it was exactly what I needed. I never felt judged, only encouraged.
– Amanda T.
“
I’ve been to other places, but this one stood out. The environment is clean, the staff genuinely cares, and the community held me accountable. This is the best sober home in Philadelphia I’ve ever experienced.
– Jason R.
“
I came in for substance use, but what I didn’t expect was the emotional healing I experienced. Their understanding of mental health and trauma changed my life. I’m now clean, stable, and hopeful.
– Nina B.

Support
Sober House Philadelphia’s adolescent mentoring program takes a three-part approach to help at-risk teens build the foundation they need for lasting recovery.
Exposure to Resources
Mentors connect teens with essential support systems, from self-help groups to meaningful activities that promote personal growth and connection.
Family Action Plan
Mentors work closely with families to create a clear and supportive Family Action Plan. This includes building trust, having honest conversations about the challenges the teen is facing, and setting healthy boundaries for the mentoring relationship.
Recovery Accountability
Mentors help keep teens on track by regularly monitoring progress through urinalysis and alcohol testing, ensuring they stay focused and supported throughout their recovery journey.
Individualized
Research shows that ongoing support is one of the most important factors in achieving long-term recovery and maintaining a healthier lifestyle. At Sober House Philadelphia, our adolescent mentoring program is personalized to meet the unique needs of each teen we serve. To provide the right level of guidance and structure, we offer two distinct tracks within our adolescent mentoring services.
